i have been working for Active Services for 13 years now. i started out the first 9 years as a floor nurse and now i am the center director of the facility. we are an adult day care for physically and mentally handicapped adults. i really enjoy this type of work, i finally found my nitch. for a while i thought i was going to be a professional student. ha ha! or tell everyone i invented the POST IT!!!
i no longer work at the adult day care, i left after 11 years. i now work for a budding company at the Tennessee border. i work for a Behavior Specialist. we provide positive behavioral services for developmentally disabled adults with negative behavioral problems. i do a lot of paperwork, and see clients weekly. I LOVE IT!! well that job fizzled out. i am back at active day as a case worker for the michelle p waiver (medicaid).
Grover owns his own small engine parts house business in town.
its 2017 now and we just finished Thanksgiving , getting ready for Christmas. I guess ill have to put up a tree this year. I haven't put one up in approx. 5yrs. the grandkids are expecting one this year. I don't do much these days . grover still works at his parts house in town and the county jail as a deputy jailer on the week ends. other than that I just crocheted and make home made bath soaps and bombs lol.
