Keith Scott

Keith Alan Scott left this world for a better place on July 6, 2021 at the age of 60 with his beloved dog Brandie by his side. Keith was born on May 18, 1961. He spent his entire life in Floyd County, graduating from Floyd Central high school in 1979 where he was an all-county wrestler and varsity football player. Motocross was his passion in his youth and Dale Earnhart (not junior) was his favorite NASCAR driver.
He loved dabbling in the stock market and taking care of his farm in Lanesville where he raised cows and created lifelong lasting memories with his father, mentor and best friend Russell Charles Scott aka Scotty.
Keith is survived by his mother, Sharon Duvall Scott, sister, Tana Scott Bolus (Bo), nephews Eli, Michael, Matthew, and Hayden, nephew Drue Scott (Megan) and great nieces and nephews Kevin III, Jack, Caroline, Charley, and Beau. Keith is predeceased by his father Scotty, as well as his older brother and second best friend Kevin, and his nephew Kevin, Jr., aunt Caroline Middleton, uncle Joseph E. Duvall, aunt Gerry Gettlefinger (Irvin), many cousins, and his beloved cat Klean.
A visitation and memorial service is scheduled from 3pm to 6pm on Friday, July 9th at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak St., New Albany) followed by a private interment. Please direct donations to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League.
