Mark Steven McAllister passed away on February 18, 2021 at age 59 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Mark was born to Larry and Joyce (Ann) Longest McAllister on August 12, 1961 in New Albany, Indiana. He graduated from Floyd Central High School and moved on to receive his Masters degree from Indiana University Southeast.

Mark was a spiritual man and a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana. He was involved in many church activities, the choir being his favorite, as he loved to sing.

He enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, camping, playing cards with his friends and spending time with family.

Mark is survived by his mother, Joyce (Ann) Longest McAllister (which we are asking this remain unknown to her due to her own illness.); two sisters, Laura McAllister Eskridge and Lisa McAllister Short (Paul) and a niece, Makayla Eskridge.

He was predeceased by his father Larry McAllister, Brother Mike McAllister; grandparents, Keach and Ruth McAllister and Court and Agnes Longest.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 and 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial to follow in St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.
