I'm so sorry to hear of Bret's passing. He was our class athlete. His picture hangs in the hall at FC. Bret will be missed by many. I remember him as being kind and friendly.

As boys Bret spent a lot of time at my home. We traveled the country running AAU track for the Kiwansis Club of New Albany. We shared our hopes, dreams and laughs.

Bret was a great athlete in high school; he go the most out of his ability. His competitive spirit and drive turned him into a champion hurdler.

His death was sudden and shocking, he will be missed by family and friends. I was honored that his family asked me to conduct his memorial. Rest in peace cousin!
